So city starbucks

Back with the famiglia in so city. Auntie lindy and I walked to Starbucks this morning to do the blog. As we were ordering our coffees the big red cruiser pulled into the parking lot..unckle spike thought we might need rescuing! So we are all three here, me blogging and them with the paper. Uncle mike is wearing red, white and blue for 4th of July. The sisters forgot.

Last night my plane arrived at 5.05 but getting through the passport check was very long, so I did not come out until after 6. We went straight to miller ave and non and gramps were waiting there ready to go wherever for dinner. They are goers!We ended up driing down to half moon bay in Krista and Greg,s car, which is big and fit all of us because the boys were with Ryan.

The drive down and back were an absolute hoot. Gramps was in the way back with Linda, mike non and I in the middle. There were a few funny stories on the way down and then noni calls Greg " Craig". Greg/Craig is ok with this but it always makes for lots of laughs and this completely goes over non's head which makes it even funnier.
The coast Was packed and everyone was surprised. But they have had a run of hot weather and this is a long weekend for 4th of July so people Re out and about. The first two restUrants we went to were too crowded. But the third one Meza Luna (yes, Italian)was good to go So we went in there and got in the queue. This worked out fine and it was not thT long before we were sitting down. Noni likes to know what everyone is going to order, although gramps is very consistent, steak and potatoes. Gramps asked if they had tench fries. The waiter said no in a numerous way that gramps would have to go to mcdonalds for fries.

Auntie lindy is looking at uncle mikes skin telling him It does not look so bad today, not so leery as it has been looking. She asked him if he put anything on his skin and you can imagine what his answer was, "what, what would I put on????" anyway the leathery look is a good look, manly!
Noni has just called us to see if we got here safely!
The martinellis actually looked at the blog every day that I was in the uk because I sent one of the postings from their house and it was saved on their favorites. They loved dad,s Spokane blogs, even though they felt a bit sorry for him that he arrived to go to the lake and then got taken off to Seattle to be buzzies offsider. Linda was so impressed with how much they got done and I think we need the buzzie and dad team for miller avenue too.

So today is the big day for fireworks but they are actually illegal to do at home. However, uncle mike usually has a few subversive fireworks stashed away so we see how we go today. That.s all for now, pictures will come later.
